Welcome

Psychotherapist
Yoga & Meditation Teacher

If I could sum up my answer to "Abigail, why are you a therapist?" it would simply be that I hated myself for a good portion of my life and was, frankly, quite a mess until I finally hit rock bottom(s). At which point I had some good fortune and was exposed to practices and skills that helped me cultivate self-compassion, interpersonal connections, and an inner sense of steadiness. As my life progressed it became obvious that there was nothing else I wanted to do more than share those practices and teachings with others. These practices are still a part of my everyday life and continue to support me through moments of joy and connection as well as grief and self-doubt. For a more formal description of my career please click here.

I work with individuals, couples, friends, and any other combination you have in mind who are ready to move from simply getting by to living with more clarity, connection, and purpose. I believe therapy is a space to explore how both past and present experiences shape our emotional lives and relationships. Deepening self-understanding is an essential part of this process—it helps us not only recognize where we've been, but also clarify what we truly need in order to inhabit the body we have and the life we're in with more ease—and, dare I say, joy.

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing begins in relationship: with yourself, your mind, your body, the people around you, and even the earth beneath your feet. Through presence, attunement, and trust, you can cultivate a relationship with yourself that you want to be in for life.

I view this work as a privilege and the relationship we form will be one I take equally to heart.
